We raise most of our dogs from pups. Bama is one of the only exception to that rule. We were contacted in the summer of 2008 by an acquaintance, who, for various personal reasons, needed to find a new home for Bama. After looking at his pedigree, we agreed to meet him and decide if he would fit in with our kennel. Upon meeting Bama, how could we say no? Bama is an extremely friendly boy, who is great with kids and other dogs. He’s well behaved, and is also a great retriever.

As you will see in Bama’s pedigree, he comes from the Candlewood lines, and has plenty of Field Trial Champions (FC), Amateur Field Trial Champions (AFC), and National Amateur Field Trial Champions (NAFC). Bama is a great duck dog, and never looses enthusiasm to go fetch one more time.
